Important: To have your order processed, please read and follow these instructions concerning credit card billing addresses:
• When completing your online order, your credit card billing address MUST be entered as your shipping address! DO NOT use separate billing and shipping addresses for personal orders- they CAN NOT be processed.
• The ONLY exceptions are: shipping to an APO or FPO, ordering from AND shipping to a verifiable corporation, or if we already know you through an organization or association.
• For those of you that use a PO Box for your credit card billing statement, you CAN enter a PO Box as your billing and shipping address. We use USPS (the postal service) so that we can ship to PO Boxes and our armed services. UPS and Fed Ex can not ship to PO Boxes.
These measures are in place to prevent fraudulent credit card orders. Thank you for understanding !

Ordering: We operate as an Internet company. We prefer to receive orders by our Secure Shopping Cart; this allows for reduced errors, efficient order entry and order receipt/ status to you. Minimum merchandise order is $23.
United States Orders:
If you would prefer- order by phone:
Call us at (804) 330-0358 (10 AM to 8 PM EST). Leave your name and phone number if we do not answer. We will return the call to answer questions and take your order. Please do not leave the order on the answering system.
To order by mail:
1) Send all information as listed under phone orders.
2) Include credit card information, check, or money order.
3) Mail to TAK, 8901 Milbrae Court, North Chesterfield, VA 23236
Payment: We currently accept Master Card, Visa, and Discover. Debt cards are accepted as long as they have the hologram logo. Money Orders and Personal Checks (must clear) are accepted. Product will be reserved for you till check or Money Order clears (~3 weeks). No cash please. No C.O.D or open accounts. 5% sales tax will be added to orders shipped to addresses in Virginia.
Shipping: We ship by US Postal Service (either Priority, First Class or Parcel Post- our choice). Shipping and Handling charges will be added based on your order total. You may request Priority Mail delivery in the "Special Instructions" section of online ordering but the shipping charge may increase from $1 to $10 depending upon weight and destination (West coast is higher than East Coast).
Insurance and Delivery Confirmation (United States Orders only): We now offer you the OPTION of selecting Insurance and Delivery Confirmation. Read these terms carefully since there will be no exceptions.
- If you do not select "Add Insurance/ Delivery Confirmation" at checkout, you have no recourse for a claim.
- If your order is lost, stolen, or damaged, YOU will file a claim with the US Postal Service for reimbursement if you purchased insurance. We will provide you with a sales receipt and proof of insurance receipt so that you may file a claim. We will not replace or provide reimbursement for shipments which are lost, stolen, or damaged. Details on how to file a claim, time frame for claims, information required, etc. can be found at www.USPS.com. Enter the word "claims" in the search tool and you will find FAQ's and forms.
99.5% of all packages we ship arrive safe and sound. However, if you have a situation where you are concerned about theft or you want proof of delivery, you should select the Insurance & Delivery Confirmation option.
Canadian Orders: Rates vary dramatically due to weight and insurance values. Small orders of a few knives, DVD's, or books typically cost $10- $15. We estimate your shipping charges and adjust the actual amount AFTER shipping. Unless requested, orders are not insured.
International Orders: Minimum merchandise order by Western Union is $125 USD before shipping; we will E Mail the amount to add for shipping. Western Union is used for ALL International Orders UNLESS you were a customer prior to April 17, 2011. Credit Cards are NOT accepted for International Orders for new customers. Money Orders are NOT accepted for International Orders. When placing order, select "Western Union". We will send you complete instructions on how to complete your transaction. Note: We are not responsible for books or videos seized by customs or any government agency. Unless requested, international orders are insured. We ship internationally only if regulations allow. Outside US rates can be estimated by going to www.USPS.com; rates listed in table below are approximations only.
A note about our phone: We are a small company and do not have a dedicated person who answers the phone. Normally when we're in the shop, noisy machinery is running and we have our hands full. We may not stop to answer the phone. Please use the shopping cart for orders or leave the order on our Secure Answering System. We will gladly return your call if you request, just leave us all available numbers and the times you are at each. When we leave the shop, we transfer calls to one of our home or cell numbers so we can accommodate your requests. For this reason, please, no calls after 8:00 PM or before 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
Liability Disclaimer: Purchaser of TAK products assumes all liability for use of TAK's products and agrees to hold harmless TAK, Inc. for any injuries which may occur. Owner realizes that knife and stick training are dangerous activities that may result in severe injury or death. Owner acknowledges that they have had knife training by a qualified instructor. Purchaser acknowledges that they are above the age of 18 years old and agrees to keep TAK products from persons under the age of 18 years old unless under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor.
