Training Tomahawks produced by TAK, Inc. for the filming of the Tomahawk video.

Modeled after custom Dwight McLemore designed tomahawk that was produced by Tim Ridge at Swamp Fox Knives.

The paraline wrapped handles are wrapped for optimal performance during grip changes. Tomahawks can be used fully choked for face-to-face fighting, mid-choke for up-close fighting, or no-choke for distance fighting or throwing. The paraline grip has been optimized to allow you to transition to full choke easily, and to give increasing grip enhancement as you transition back out to no choke.
Leather version on Training Tomahawk produced by TAK, Inc. for the filming of the Tomahawk video.

The leather version is a straight wrap design. The square edges of the leather, combined with it's natural tack, provide an excellent, secure grip at all grip positions.

Both version of the training tomahawks have a natural shock absorbing base between the polycarbonate handle and the grip material. This provides isolation from harsh vibrations from repeated blows to a hard pell.

The natural rawhide leather is finished with a warm prairie brown dye, sealed, and hand rubbed.

Slight variations in color shift occur due to the natural leather.
Tim Ridge (Swamp Fox Knives) and Dwight McLemore collaborated on the design of this Tomahawk for the upcoming Paladin Press video.
"SWAMP FOX KNIVES strives to bring you historically accurate hand forged reproductions of knives which were used during the formative years of the United States. They look original because they are made like the originals... hand forged with hammer and anvil."
